I qualified with distinction (SCQF level 8) as a Clinical Reflexologist in 2022. I am passionate about using reflexology to allow the body to heal, and to promote calm and relaxation. I offer treatments from my own home in south west Edinburgh, and can also treat you in your own home (location dependent). I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and a student member of the Association of Reproductive Reflexologists.

Update: Having completed training in fertility and pregnancy reflexology, I am now looking for case studies. If you are interested in this, I am offering a discounted rate while in training.

Natural Healing

Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary health therapy that can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing. Reducing stress in people’s lives can be key in optimising good health and building resilience. It is a touch therapy that is based on the theory that different points on the feet, lower leg, hands, face or ears correspond with different areas of the body and reflexologists work these points and areas.

What happens when I go for a treatment?

A full medical history will be requested in advance of your first treatment, and you will be asked to sign a consent form for treatment. This information will be kept confidential. Reflexology is a very easy therapy to receive; you will only have to remove your shoes and socks.

I will then use my hands to apply pressure to the feet and lower leg. You may feel areas of transient discomfort during the treatment, but generally the experience should be relaxing.

Aftercare

I recommend you take it easy after your treatment and keep hydrated, avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise if you can for at least 24 hours after your treatment.
